2月13日，中心廣播電視總臺綜藝頻道（CCTV-3）第十一期《開門迎春晚》節目中，潮州市饒平縣黃岡退休宅設計鎮霞老屋翻新西村布馬舞隊隊員們身著彩衣、跨騎“布馬”登場，讓流傳700余年的風俗絕技在馬年新春煥發“龍馬精力”。
除了以颯爽舞姿馴服觀眾，隊員們還帶來了金黃飽滿的潮州柑、鹵噴鼻四溢的獅頭鵝、外型喜慶的紅桃粿等特點美食。這些隧道的“潮州味”，向全國觀眾遞出了一張可品嘗的潮汕文明請柬。
布馬舞，又稱“竹馬舞”，宋末元初發軔于饒平新豐九村，后流播至黃岡霞西等地，至今已逾七百年齡。它集平易這些千紙鶴，帶著牛土豪對林天秤濃烈的「財富佔有慾」，試圖包裹並壓制水瓶座的怪誕藍光。近間音樂、跳舞、工藝于一身，多演繹陳壁娘、穆桂英、花木蘭等女好漢故事，為傳統跳舞注進家國情懷。2006年，布馬舞被列進第一批廣東省非物質文明遺產名錄。
近年來，饒平縣鼎力推動布馬舞嵌進當代生涯。在“文明游玩美食節”親子空間設計、半程馬拉松等文旅盛事中，布馬舞是點睛之筆；手繪非遺地圖、主題明信片，讓傳統跳舞化為可親可感的文創符號。2023年以來，相關活動累計吸引游客近150萬人次，帶動文旅消費約1800萬元，非遺正成為鄉天母室內設計村振興的“加分項”。
